Health Care Authority Billing and Reimbursement Survey

In order to improve the Health Care Authority (HCA) website billing and reimbursement experience, HCA is asking providers to complete a short survey by Jan. 28.

In order to improve the Health Care Authority (HCA) website billing and reimbursement experience, HCA is asking providers to complete this short survey. The survey includes four questions with drop down selections, as well as two open-ended questions. Examples of questions include:

  • On your first try, how often are you able to find policies, procedure codes, and information in the billing guides using the HCA website?
  • What would you change regarding policies, procedure codes, and billing guides on the HCA website?

If you would like to fill out the survey, you can do so here. The survey will be available until Friday, Jan. 28, 2022. 

Medicaid Transition to Managed Care Cancelled

The 2019 Legislature has directed the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) to continue to administer the dental Medicaid program through fee-for-service. The HCA may not proceed with a carved-out or carved-in managed care dental option at this time.
