HCA: Reporting requirement for Apple Health mobile anesthesia subcontractors

The Health Care Authority (HCA) recently sent the following alert to dental Medicaid providers.

Reporting requirement for Apple Health mobile anesthesia subcontractors

The Health Care Authority (HCA) sends you this notification as a reminder of the reporting requirement for Apple Health (Medicaid) mobile anesthesia (MA) subcontractors, and an introduction to HCA’s new reporting process.

Per section 4.36.1 of the HCA contract with MA providers, providers are required to send HCA information on subcontractors. HCA is currently creating a process for MA providers to follow to be implemented on July 1, 2022.

We will send out detailed instruction on the process and reporting tool closer to the implementation date.
