Make Your 1A Vaccine Appointment ASAP

DOH and WSDA urge health care workers currently eligible in Phase 1A, which includes all dental office employees, to make their vaccine appointment ASAP to ensure prioritization before those in Phase 1B become eligible.

On Jan. 13, the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) released a statement announcing that Washington is expected to move into Vaccine Phase 1B “in a matter of days.”

DOH and WSDA urge health care workers currently eligible in Phase 1A, which includes all dental office employees, to make their vaccine appointment ASAP to ensure prioritization before those in Phase 1B become eligible. Those eligible in Phase 1A do not lose eligibility as additional phases open, but should take advantage of the opportunity to get vaccinated in the next few days while still prioritized.

Vaccine Location List

If you and your team have not been vaccinated, please view the list of vaccine locations by county here and make an appointment at an available location ASAP.

WSDA recommends that in addition to any noted requirements from a vaccine provider, individuals receive a confirmation of 1A eligibility through DOH's Find Your Phase tool or secure a vaccine voucher letter from their employer prior to arriving at their appointment. Learn more about these options at wsda.org/vaccine.

Having Difficulties Securing an Appointment?

If you have contacted all available vaccine providers in your county on the DOH list and are still having difficulties scheduling a vaccine appointment for yourself and your team, please let us know using this form.

Report Scheduling Difficulties

WSDA will use this information to communicate with the DOH and your local health jurisdiction about scheduling difficulties and work on your behalf to increase appointment availability for dental teams.

Communicate with Staff

WSDA recommends that employer dentists communicate this information to staff, if you have not already, to ensure all workers in your office know they are eligible for vaccination and are able to make an appointment prior to Phase 1B opening.

Sincerely,

Dr. Dennis Bradshaw
