DQAC will discuss rule updates including potential rule changes related to CODA approval of out of country dental schools, consider a rule request related to dental unit water quality, and consider for approval the proposed dental anesthesia rules. Additionally, the Commission will receive Committee meeting updates from the Education Outreach, EFDA Education, and Dental Anesthesia Committees, and will also consider a request from CODA to participate in a site visit of a new dental therapy program in Washington State.
Finally, the Commission will receive information on a dental interstate compact, information on interoperability for medical and dental record sharing, discuss various correspondence, and receive a copy of the Dental Therapy Taskforce report.
