Prescription Coverage Changes

Please read the following message from the HCA:

Effective January 1, 2020, for clients enrolled in an agency-contracted Apple Health managed care plan, dental prescriptions will no longer be paid through the fee-for-service program. Dental prescriptions for these clients must be billed to the medical managed care plan.

There is no billing change for clients enrolled in the Apple Health fee-for-service program.

For questions related to dental prescriptions, email Apple Health Pharmacy Policy.

Medicaid Transition to Managed Care Cancelled
