DQAC Considers Rule Amendments Regarding Licensure Requirements for EFDAs

A CR-101 has been filed to consider rule amendments regarding licensure requirements for expanded function dental auxiliaries (EFDAs).

The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) is considering rule amendments to remove the current requirement for expanded function dental auxiliaries (EFDA) to place and finish amalgam restoration on clinical patients as part of their education in order to be licensed.
